Finally I went to Go Figure. Oh. My. God. This is San Francisco's mecca for plus sizes. They've got everything and more. The store is big and crammed full of fabulousness, much of which is not baggy and camouflaging. Carolyn Honig, the owner, has gone all over the West Coast, combing the market and finding not just official plus-size clothing, but any good clothes that will fit a plus-size woman. She has found everything there is to find. And I want to thank her gratefully for putting in the time.
I found an organdy evening jacket with pink embroidery that makes me strange with delight.
So that's one great store in a city full of thousands of clothing stores.
